Even though Los Angeles is unlikely to see any actual snowfall during the holidays, residents and visitors can still experience the thrill of winter sports and cozy lodges by visiting The Grove. The adorable Jellycat team has unveiled a charming alpine getaway within the Glass Box, known as the Jellycat Ski Club (https://us.jellycat.com/jellycat-ski-club-at-the-grove-los-angeles/), a limited-time festive installation running from November 11 to December 31.
The Glass Box has been reimagined as a snowy paradise amidst the iconic palm trees, effortlessly whisking guests away to a snug mountain lodge where Jellycat's irresistibly cute plush toys blend seamlessly with the elegance of ski-inspired fashion.
What makes the Ski Club particularly exciting are its five exclusive Jellycat designs, obtainable solely at The Grove. These include Bartholomew Bear sporting his mountain-ready attire, Franilla Luxe Bunny in delicate winter hues, the Amuseables Fitswell Mitten, Scarffles Hot Chocolate, and the Amuseables Molasi Cookie. Plus, popular picks from Jellycat's 2025 lineup will be available for purchase.
And for an unforgettable holiday selfie moment: a giant Bartholomew Bear, fully outfitted in skiing gear and riding a Jellycat-themed skidoo in blue and orange, is on hand for photo ops.
No proper ski lodge would be complete without indulgent refreshments, so Jellycat has partnered with La La Land Kind Cafe, located right at The Grove, for a special seasonal joint venture. Starting November 21 and lasting until December 5, the café—given its own Jellycat-themed makeover—will offer two unique drinks inspired by Jellycat, each served with personalized sleeves and napkins. Enjoy a warm sip while wandering the Ski Club and tackling some festive shopping.
Bookings for the experience are currently available (https://us.jellycat.com/jellycat-ski-club-at-the-grove-los-angeles/), with additional time slots released every Thursday.

Do you believe plush toy pop-ups add real magic to urban holiday scenes, or are they just overpriced novelties?
