Verstappen, despite his eight wins, acknowledged the superior performance of McLaren for most of the season. When asked about his driving style, he defended his approach, stating, "I gave it my all, and I have no regrets."
However, when pressed about the controversial incident at the Spanish GP, where he was penalized for colliding with George Russell's car, Verstappen became defensive. "You only remember Barcelona, but there were other moments in my season too. A championship is a long journey, and I've had my fair share of advantages as well."
Piastri, who led the championship for more races than Norris but saw a drop in form towards the end, reflected on his season with a mix of disappointment and growth.
